I've been going to LTD since they opened. Every visit comes with an inside/outside car wash and vacuum. They are really a notch above in every respect, with clean, comfortable waiting areas, good coffee, snacks, bottled water, free internet, TV, shuttle service, etc. It's like a luxury dealership, minus the price, a first-class experience all the way. Even better, Paul & co are scrupulously honest and transparent to deal with. I mean, you could not ask for a more honest or thorough mechanic. Now, their prices are more of a mixed bag... The basic car wash and oil-change prices are ridiculously cheap. I almost feel bad paying $10 for a full wash and vacuum. And $30 for oil & filter PLUS a cleaning is unheard-of as a regular price. However, bigger services are closer to dealership prices than to cut-rate discount-shop prices. I had a 4-wheel brake job done there for almost $600 that probably could have been done for ~$400 if I had shopped aggressively. That said, LTD included balancing and alignment, a free tire repair, and of course a thorough cleaning inside and out. They also used better-quality parts, and of course, they were extremely honest and thorough every step of the way. It's hard to put a price on a great mechanic, and I don't mind paying a bit of premium for the peace of mind and honesty of these guys. If nothing else, stop in for a car wash or an oil change (which are cheaper than anywhere), just to get a feel for how different the place is. I bet you'll like it.
